    Smart craft trim

    My trim on my guages is flaking out. It almost always shows 0 but will flash other numbers too quick to read when I'm actually using the trim switch. Please help!!!

    Couple of questions:

    1. What engine (preferably include serial number)?

    2. Digital Trim Sender installed?

    3. Any ANALOG trim gauge in boat (that's functional)?

    2005 225 optimax. yes and no. the numbers jump around but is always returns to 0 until it trimmed up to trailor.

    Trim is likely configured for "High Resolution Trim" (meaning it reads in "tenths" of a degree).

    You may need to recalibrate the trim sender (via the Smartcraft Instrument)- see Smartcraft Owner's Manual for directions.

    IF you do not have a manual, it will be necessary to determine precisely which Smartcraft instrument you have (picture of instrument if not certain of version/type).
