Question Don - Some type of Smartcraft for my new 250 ProXS?

    Don,
Just traded in my 2002 Opti 200 (and the boat it was on) for a new boat with a 2013 250 ProXS. The old boat had one of those SC1000 monitors (the square one) and I became accustomed to having the view of what was going on with the motor. I'm interested in getting a Smartcraft monitor of some sort and I am looking for your advice.

Of course, that leads me to a million questions.
    Which do you recommend?
How can we determine what I need for harnesses?
Can I pull out the original tach and replace it? Should I?
If I remove the tach, can I reuse my chrome bezel?
    etc, etc, etc....

is the best way for me to call you? When?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jim

The level 1 mercmonitor is the most popular. Shows far more info on a much larger screen than your old sc1000 gauge too. Don sells them as a complete kit with everything you need for installation. VERY convenient. Installation is pretty straight forward. The gauge fits in a standard 3 3/8" hole. What boat did you get?

Mercmonitor...Don sent me everything I needed. It comes with one each of black, white, and chrome bezels, so you can match with the rest of your guages. Will fit in place of your tach.

Level-1 MercMonitor kit would be my recommendation.
