Is it possible to run a 90 degree 2.6 l crank in a 76 degree 2.6 l HPDI block?
I have been told the exhaust runners and transfer ports are much better on the 2.6l HPDI block.
I believe the offsets on the cranks are different and that this combination will allow the piston to dwell longer at TDC and BDC giving an improvement like the long rod 2.6 l engines Yamaha used to make.
If so what else do I need to make this happen?
