No, not sure. But I know Yammies run real strong around 6K rpm. They will make good power past 6K as well.
I have the Phase III and Wayne said it was between 230-240

I have a Phase II on a 1998 2.6L 200 VMAX Carb and its around 265 hp (Dyno'd at 235 before the 8200 heads, didn't get an official dyno but figure + 30 hp)
What makes a Phase III on a 2.6L Carb?

I meant what part is added for a phase III? I thought there was only two phase kits for the 2.6L Carb VMAX motors.

I dont think that there is a phaseIII for a 2.6 carb motor on mine is just ordered parts on my powerhead rebuild and did not ask what phase it was but i think that it has more than a phaseII I just kept addin parts.

I know him and can comfirm and he has and some mods done to his..... it runs well was thinking it was est. closer to 270 need to call Wayne or Mat at HydroTec they will fix you up...
This still gives me no answer to my original question. Where is the hp peak on a stock vmax 150, and how many rpm's will my hp peak go up with a phase 1 kit?
35 hp and probly about 300 rpm

I think about 5700 but not sure. My carbed 200 was at 5900. I think that the hpdi's are a 5600-5700. Now after the mods I have done mine is 6500 and was still climbing on the dyno.

So from a performance standpoint, I would be better off to keep the prop I have, and let my engine turn a few more r's after installing a phase kit?
Mine is the HPDI 150 VMAX the #'s are what Wayne told me I don't have a dyno I just know it's ALOT more than it was !
