    How to add trim fluid?

I'm sorry to be so dumb! but I can't figure out how to add enough trim fluid to my 2000 Johnson 175 (J175PLSS).
I replaced my Manual Release Screw O-ring, which was broken and leaking, and I lost most of the fluid doing it. now for the life of me I can't get enough fluid in the reservoir. It comes out as fast as I can get it in! I'm close, because the pistons will come up but not enough to lift the motor, but they won't go down unless I back off the manual screw and push them down by hand. How do you add trim fluid the easy way!!! I need easy detailed info on how to add fluid, bleed the unit and What kind of Fluid! I'm old and dumb and need some good help!

Tilt the motor to full tilt manually, have a couple of friends help, use the service bracket to hold the motor up, its on the right side at the top of the swivel bracket, leave the manual release valve loose.

Fill the trim reservoir until full, press and hold the trim up button for 30 seconds, then press and hold the trim down button for 30 seconds, recheck the fluid, add if necessary.

Tighten the manual release valve and press the trim up button, the motor should lift off the service bracket, lower motor as far as you can and then raise it to full tilt, recheck fluid.
