SHO SURVEY

I would like everyone to please submit in a reply which questions they would like to have in a survey.

For example.

What year was your engine manufactured.
At what RPM's do you mostly run your engine.
Would you say you idle more than 25% of the time.
Have you experienced "making oil"
How many times have you changed the oil in the first 6 months.
Would you by another SHO engine.
Does your engine screech, squeak, or make abnormal noises during operation.

Please list any questions you would like on a survey. I will be creating an online survey to go live on Monday October 3, 2011. I intend to notify as many as I can, through as many modes of media as I can in order to get as many responses as possible.
I believe it is up to us to satisfy our own curiosities. Who knows, maybe Yamaha will find it helpful.

Do you check your oil regularly?
Has your SHO been perfect?

Here are some survey questions that may be of some use and kind of follow the owners survey that I got and completed directly from Yamaha. Also, maybe think about putting up a post on the Texas Bass Fishing Forum, The Bass Resource Home Page, The Bass Fishing Home Page also linking to the survey on live. The TX forum alone has a TON of Skeeter guys there and since the SHO is all that comes with that boat you may get some additional input from that community since it's so large in TX.

Do you feel that you have adequate information to make an informed decision about buying a SHO outboard motor if you are considering a purchase?

Is your SHO outboard motor currently operational?

How many hours are on your SHO outboard motor?

Have you experienced any major issues to date with your SHO outboard motor?

Did Yamaha meet your expectations with regard to the repair of your SHO outboard motor?

Has your dealer informed you of the proper break in procedure for your SHO outboard motor and reviewed the owners manual with you?

Has Yamaha met your overall expectations with regard to the SHO outboard motor purchased?

Did you consider another brand before you purchased your SHO outboard motor?

Is the SHO outboard motor the first Yamaha product you have owned?

Would you consider purchasing another SHO outboard motor or other Yamaha product based on your experience with your current SHO outboard motor?
