    SHO Cooling

    I posted this am another thread but thought I would make a new post for others to see:

    This is a scan of a diagram and flow chart of the SHO's cooling system from the service manual.

    Does Yamaha run a Poppit Valve in that system for the SHO motor? I did not see one in the flow diagram.

    If the Yamaha official name for the poppit valve is "Pressure Control Valve" (PCV)...Yes it has been removed as per the sentence above the diagram.

    So the "Pressure Control Valve" is still in the flow of the water that is pumped through the motor and was deleted for simplification of the flow diagram.

    No... they are citing the changes with the SHO ...no PCV valve...No poppet valve...

    Just as you see it! They are simplifying the "structure" not the diagram...
