I have a 03 vmax hpdi 200 HP. The low oil buzzer and light went off and I noticed that the resevoir on the motor was low. I tried using the manual oil pump switch but it didn't fill up. I pulled the oil tank out, checked the small oil filter on the bottom of the tank, and it was clear. Tried to manually pump with the switch on the motor and I could here the pump run but no oil was pumping through the line. Pulled the cover off the pump on the tank, turned switch again. Motor seemed to be working fine (couldn't stop gears with my fingers) Filled pump with oil, reassembled and pumped fine with manual switch. Went for a ride and buzzer went off again.-no oil in resevoir. It seems like pump is losing prime all the sudden??? Any suggestion fellas?
