I have a 2003 Yamaha Vmax 200 3.1L and it doesnt seem to have a very strong stream of water coming out of it. Would that just be an impeller thing or could it be more than that?

Or popit valve. Replace the whole water pump kit every 3 years min.

The new poppit valve spring is longer. I think it keeps the bypass hole shut longer, so you get higher water pressures. Replace the valve and spring and see what kind of water pressure you get. Before the new spring guys were stretching it.
Is there a chance that the motor just hasn't opened up yet to make a steady heavy stream? I called my local marina and the service guy said that its prob just not opened up and the motor doesn't need the water to cool down the motor so there isn't a heavy steady stream..... Does that make sense?
