Anyone have any info or experience with this year motor? I already know it is going to drink gas and the hours on the motor are estimated to be under 200. Im asking this because the boat I am interested in has this motor. Im generaly a mercury fan but have heard good things about yamaha.

I have the exact same motor and it loves gas and oil but always starts.
I owned this motor for a year and replaced the water pump and currently trying to solve a tilit and trim issue by rebuilding the rams with new rings and seals. All I can tell you is don't use a motor stick to tow, it acts like a battering ram to the trim housing.
