    6200RPM?

What is the best RPM for a 1992 150hp 60deg eagle series engine. My boat would only turn around 5300, but after installing a 7" setback plate it now turns 6100-6200. It is on a 274FS Stratos 18' with a 23" Shooter @ 64mph GPS. Should i go with a 24 or 26 Raker to bring it down some?

If you could try a 24 raker first, that would be nice. Once you get close on the prop ,then you get really close on the height. In some cases, a 26 raker works really well, ithink it may be a touch to much in your case. The three blade has a larger diameter, therefore we add pitch. going to a 26 would be like going to a 28 or so shooter. It's all relative.

I'm not seeing the 26 on the 150, unless it's been hopped up. The 24 is a good prop and the 23 Gade also. JMHO 24 will usually be slower out of the hole but will give the top speed, where the Gade will get out of the hole ok but will be 1-2 mph slower on wot. Again JMHO!
