Just noticed mine is missing on my 150 HPDI. Will this have any negative effect on performance. I haven't noticed anything different in steering or handling.

Some boats need them and some do not. I need mine with the old steering I have, it helps a little with the torque steer.

I've replaced mine twice, I don't think it will change the performance any, but if you leave your boat in the water it also acts as a sacrificial anode.
