In the process of doing filter changes on an '03 225hp HPDI. I am going to change my gas lines, but local yamaha dealer does not sell the primer bulb by itself. He said it only comes with the gas line attached. At 147 bucks, I think I can do better than that! Is there a place where I can buy a Yamaha primer bulb or would a Merc one work ok? I really don't want a wally world cheap pos
Anyone will work. You should be able to just get the bulb.
Had a mariner motor, changed the bad bulb and now changed to a yamaha motor and used my bulb the one with the motor was hard and bad.

Get with Don Weed in the Merc forum. He has exactly what you need and I personally think it is better than the Yammie one.
Thanks guys, just ordered an OEM merc bulb from European Marine and it is on its way along with new gas line.

I ordered 17' of 3/8" and 3' of 5/16" line at $3.87 per foot and the bulb was $11 something and shipping came to a little less than $100.
I ordered this yesterday aftenoon and had a fedex tracking number like 1 hour later
