    92 200 Pro V

Just purchase my friends 1992 200 DX with a 200 Pro V. This boat is a garage queen here in Ohio only used a few times a summer and garaged always! My question is there any thing I should do to the engine to make sure it stays healthy? Fuel additives ect?

    Thanks!

If the gas is old, try to drain it and refill with fresh gas. Then run Ringfree and Marine Sta-bil in every tank. You should also change the water pump impeller and lower unit gear oil if he didn't do it before he winterized it last fall. Maybe even throw a new set of plugs in it so you will have a reference starting point as to how clean your cylinders are running with reguards to carbon buildup. The ProV's are great motors.....darn near bullet proof if taken care of.
