    Got it!!!! Turns out planing problem was vst filter...and the to many rpm was tach going bad..used a shop tach that clamps on spark wire...2500 rpm over on my tach...FYI if you have a faria gauge they will rebuild it for $30 so you dont have to fork out $100-$500 for a new analog or digital one.
