What is the recommended cranking amps needed for a 150 hpdi? I have looked everywhere and cannot find anything. When i purchased the boat it had a 650 amp battery in it, doesn't seem to be enough.

Everyone here will agree, get the most amps you can get. I run a group 24 Interstate battery that's a HD model. I think it has 1,000 cca's. I'm on my second one since 2003, first one lasted until last sprng of 2009.
