any trim guys ,need help,trim acting wierd question

Last summer one of my trim cylinders started leaking a little bit of fluid. It was a small amount so i figured i would put in the shop this winter so i wouldnt have to be without a boat. Yesterday i took it to montecello and while running wide open when i start to shut it down and trim it down at the same time my motor would jerk really bad. I could shut it down without trimming down and it would do fine, or i could shut it down while trimmed up and it would do fine. My question is, could being low on fluid cause this ? If not what might it be ?

Either air, water or low fluid level or all of the above can be possible cause. Send me an IM with your email and I’ll send you all the info with pics needed to replace the o-rings, seals and do the bleeding procedures.
