i have a 2000 2.6 hpdi. i hooked it to the water hose today to make sure everything was working before my first tournament next weekend. i noticed water coming out from behind the main relay box on the drivers side of the motor. i pulled the cover off and there is a grey box with a water line going into it that is cracked. what is this part? it looks pretty simple to change i just need to know what is is and where i can find one. thanks for all replys.
That's the rectifier/regulator which is water cooled hence the two small water hoses attached to it. If it is just the hose that cracked simply replace that section of hose.
It's not just the hose. It has a crack all the way across the front of it. I was thinking about using some jb weld to glue it back together.
change the plate , it froze and cracked
can you just change the plate. where would i find that part? i checked boats.net and it looks like is is sold as one pc.
