I am wondering if a ox66 lower unit off of a 150 will fit on my 175 hpdi. Mine dosent have the low water pickups so the look the some just want to make sure the ratio is the same.

The ratio is not the same... 2.0 on the 150 and 1.86 on the 1.75 but I'm 99% sure they will fit/swap. http://www.kencook.net/Gears.html

Thanks for the info , That is what i was affraid of. nothing ever works out to my advantage.
It may work great for you, You will spin the same props 400 more rpms. Or you just go up 2 inchs in pitch on a different prop.
