My buddys trim is giving him problems. He trims the motor up fine but it will not stay up. I suggested Viagra but he didn't want to waste his supply. I had him check the fluid and it was fine. There are no visible leaks or funny noises associated either. Any suggestions on what to check for?

I have 1994 Prov 150tlrr and the trim fluid has probably leaked out over time and he has lost pressure not allowing motor to stay tilted up.I have had to replace seals around both trim rods.Maybe he has water mixed in showin it has enough fluid but cant build up enought pressure to hold motor up.What did the fluid look like color wise? Just an idea.
Fluid looked good and fluid level was ok
It's probably leaking internally. Rebuilding would cure it.
