HDS 10 in between consoles of CDC 911?

anybody have experience mounting HDS 10 or Hum 10" unit in between the consoles? or any pics of of what you've done? thanks for the help

I had an HDS 8 on mine with no problems. I had it mounted on a ram mount.

I have a 998 in between mine. I made a metal bracket that screwed on the area above the livewell switches and extends out so the unit will clear the windsheilds. If I make it home this weekend I will try to snap a few pics. Its real easy to make. A ram mount would do the same thing but this only cost about 10 bucks

i have a ten on my console.. using the big ball ram mount RAM-D-111-C

I made a bracket and mounted it as close to flush in the dash as possible. I just removed the unit that came in the dash to open up access behind the console and made a bracket that connects behind the console and has 2 arms that come through the opening and attach to the unit (I have the HDS 12 touch) so you will have plenty of room witht he 10 and it looks almost factory.
