does it hurt to run one tank dry before swithing to the other on a 2 stroke HPDI?

Not recommended to run a motor or fuel tank dry. You can pick up all kinds of crud in the bottom of the fuel tank plus run your motor on the lean side just as it runs out of gas.
I've always ran mine on dual mode....

How do you do that? I've got two separate tanks and have to switch between them, do you have yours set up where they both feed at the same time? Thanks

We've got a selector under our rear deck (with exception to the SX boats which have one big tank) allowing you to select which side you want, or you can select 'both' and draw off both tanks at once.
