I have a 1985 90hp yamaha, lately when I first start it and don't give it a long run when I stut it down it is very difficult to start again, well today it would not start at all after the first time, when I got home I found there is no spark to any cyl., fuses are good , according to the manual one set of leads from the pulsar coil does not have the proper resistance, would this cause the no spark condition???
this is driving me nuts!
First thing is to check the kill switch, then go from there.
If your trigger has failed whitch determines when to spark yes that can be a cause .
also keep your switch box in mind
have you came across any thing else looking at it?
