    Thumbs Up Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley Tournaments!!

    There will be a total of 18 events and to qualify for the Nov 3rd event CLASSIC you must fish at least 8 of the 18 opens as either a boater or non-boater. There is a $2000 guaranteed total prize money for the FREE entry fee November 3rd Classic on Kentucky Lake for those who qualify! Teams do not need to be the same every event. However, both members must fish at least 8 events themselves and partner with someone that has also fished 8 events. This classic event will be free to those who qualify, except the big fish pot will be an optional $10.00 per team. We will not provide a boat or boater for a qualified non-boater. Nor will we force a boater to take a non-boater if they do not want to. We will be having 9 tournaments on Kentucky Lake and 9 tournaments on Lake Barkley. You can mix and match tournaments from both lakes to get your 8 qualifying events in for the year.
    COST: $50 per boat with an optional $10 Big Bass 75% Payback

    Rules and Regulations
    1. This is an OPEN BUDDY tournament trail. Choose your own partner or fish alone.
    2. Only Largemouth and Kentucky Spotted Bass measuring 15+ inches and Smallmouth Bass measuring 18+ inches for Lake Barkley Events and 15+ inches for Kentucky Lake Events with MOUTH CLOSED will be weighed. Short fish will result in a 1lbs penalty & loss of fish.
    3. Golden Rule will be the official board used.
    4. Fishing with artificial baits only is authorized. There will be no motor trolling.
    5. A 50 yard courtesy rule is in effect for any boat that is anchored with trolling motor in stowed position.
    6. No more than two contestants per boat. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    7. Contestants must check in and pay prior to launch at safe light.
    8. Live wells will be checked by members of the Tournament Committee prior to start of tournament.
    9. There will be a 4 ounce penalty for each dead fish. No culling of dead fish!!
    10. No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed. Violators will be disqualified & barred from future events.
    11. Competitors who are not at check-in area at appointed time shall be penalized at a rate of 1 pound per minute. Weight reduction will be taken from largest fish first. Arriving 15 minutes past check in time will result in immediate disqualification.
    12. All Federal, State, and Local Regulations shall apply.
    13. Five-fish limit per boat. Cull rule is in effect. You are not allowed to possess more than 5 fish. Once a 6th fish is caught you must IMMEDIATELY cull down to a 5 fish limit. Culling at the ramp will result in immediate disqualification from the event.
    14. All decisions by tournament officials are final. Tournament liability release form must be signed prior to participating.
    15. Fishing Rods over 8 feet shall be prohibited.
    16. Safety- Boats must be equipped with a working kill switch. Life jackets must be worn at all times the combustible engine is running.
    17. All announcements by the Tournament Director at the ramp takes precedence over written rules.
