225 HPDI stays engaged in forward gear

I noticed while winterizing that when the motor is in neutral the prop continues to turn. I took off the prop and while it was idling checked to see if the shaft was turning but not engaged in the forward gear. It was so now how do I adjust it so it will be in neutral?

They all spin a little in neutral. My 92 Yamaha 130 I had before my 225 did the same thing. It is not engaged.

This is normal…most motors will spin the prop while in neutral. I would explain why but it would take too long.
