Need help with disconnected tubes after Yamaha tech serviced. Connect or not ???

So I just got my boat back from getting a $300+ 100 hour servicing from an "Authorized yamaha outboard repair dealer" and I honestly didnt trust him at all. He didnt even know what a 10 micron filter was!

Anyway, I took the cowling off and found these 2 tubes disconnected. Can anyone tell me what these are and if they need to be connected or not?? Thank you very much in advance! One tube runs to the boat and the other to a nipple at the bottom of the cowling. Thanks in advance!!! Oh yeah, motor is 08 250hpdi

looks like speedo tube hook up

if he did water pump, he could of removed them

That repair dealer was a MORON! I am actually going to call Yamaha and let them know that they might want to look into removing them. Also, the plastic cover/casing over the flywheel was cracked and broken. Any reason they should have been up there messing with anything with just the 100 hr maint?????? Thanks!

blow in the one into the boat, it should be the speedo or water pressure gauge


as for the cowling if a HPDI or 4 stroke, they needed to check the belt up there

yep
