Welcome to the boards! If you want to run BRP oil run the XD-50. You'll still have to de-carb every 100 hrs but it is good stuff. If you want to run synthetic then run XD-100. I know other people say Amsoil, blue marble, Pennsoil, its your motor, we only recommend BRP oils and additives. CM

The xd-100 is usually cost prohibitive for the carb motors unless ya got deep pockets! It's the better oil just pricey. The xd-50 is a great oil for that engine.

Is the XD100 good for the carb engines? I just happened on a great price while in Kentucky this past weekend. Found the xd100 in a bait store marked $18.49. Asked the guy if this price was right and he said he bought it from sombody that won two cases in a tournament and didn't use that kind. Bought 3 gallons for my "old" GT200.

Man, why can't I ever find a deal like that? I would have bought every gallon he had @ that price.

Since you're scared to run the stuff in your carb motor, please send it to me free of charge and I'll pay the shipping.

Seriously, you're better off running the XD100 that XD30 or XD 50, even in a carb'd motor. Basiclly, it's BRP's full synthetic TCW3 oil.

Thanks for the advice, is it okay to mix it or should I flush?

Run it down to 1/4 tank and then add the new stuff.
