    Little help needed

    just bought 2005 yamaha 115 2stroke any information will help about this motor what I can expect of it. what kind of oil to use, gas ,hrs Thanks

    Did it come with an owner's manual? I'd start there. Keep your filters fresh and run Ring Free.

    Great engine and a virtual bullet proof engine at that. It will run forever if you take care of it. That being said, I would run YamaLube, with Ring Free. You can run regular gas too, it's all that's needed. Change your gearlube once a year. Plugs every 50-100 hours and water pump every 2 years or 100 hours. You'll run it forever.

    You should be able to download an owners manual for the engine at yamaha.com.
