runs great at launch go about a 1/4 mile at half to full throttle and then it will run bad and died will restart but runs bad let seat for about 10 mins will run good for the same time. changed the water pump and thermostat kit.

Sounds like a fuel restriction problem or the carb float levels are off or gummed up.
Check the spark plugs for comparison . See if the look even, see if any water appears on the plug when problem happens. You can choke it when the problem happens and see if it gets better,if it does,rebuild carbs.
