2001 VMAX 225 ox66 - Over heating alarm when water is pumping normally...

Hey guys... I have a 2001 VMAX 225 OX66... Just got the propshaft and impeller replaced on the unit... for some reason my water pressure gauge won't move until she's over 2k RPM.. and the engine would overheat if i stay in idle for over 5-10 mins... or if i just put it in gear and let it move forward -- it would eventually over heat..

Water is pissing from the vents like normal.. nothing looks clogged (visually from outside)..

I did adjust the jackplate up for testing new props but I moved it back down to where it use to be....

Anyone have any suggestions as to what to check next? Before all these changes when I give the motor some throttle, the water pressure gauge would move up a little as usual.. but again, it wont move at all until its pass 2k RPM.

Help?

Check the pressure relief valve--probably stuck open and not letting enough water to the top cylinders.

Hmmmm... I'm a newbie... where exactly is the pressure relief valve? pix anyone?
