Sound like a fuel supply problem. Primer bulb, fuel pickup, fuel pump. You can hit the choke to make sure it is a fuel problem. If it has been sitting ,you may have float problems, or the needle and seats are not moving freely. If it has been sitting , i would recomend cleaning the carbs and checking the filters.
