    XD-100 Pricing!!

I hope the XD-100 is worth the price that it costs. Picked up two gallons today and thought of all of the baits that those two gallons of oil would buy. I am running it because it is supposed to be the best in my Evinrude 200 (2003). If a person thinks gas is high he or she should price some of this premium stuff

I know what you mean!! I picked up a couple of gallons a week or so ago.I paid $38.00 a gallon. I guess if you want the best you got to pay.

    Re: XD-100 Pricing!! (Sprint 207)

Guys, If ya not getting it from a dealer that sells it in bulk, Then you're prolly paying premiun prices. I was getting it for 35.00 a gal till my dealer got it in bulk. Now I take my own jug they fill it up for 30.00. that's a pretty good savings. I agree we need a break from high oil and gas prices!!

I can get a better deal too. I just didn't think of taking some jugs in. Next time I surely won't forget. And I wholeheartedly agree on the break from the high gas and oil prices.

    Re: XD-100 Pricing!! (johnrude)

Is there a way to find out who sells it bulk, or do you just have to start calling every dealership you can think of?I paid 35 last fall before I winterized so won't be needing any anytime soon, one advantage of a small e-tec is you will have a hard time using up a gallon per season.

Where I bought mine today (The Boat Shop; Poplar Bluff, Missouri) had it in bulk; They asked me if I had jugs for the bulk, but I did not. It was cheaper!!!! Next time I will take my jugs with me.....

That's nuthin...try pricing some race oil. I am running some of the cheapest I could find, Royal Purple Synthetic Race oil and I got a hell of a deal, getting it at cost and still am paying well over what you paid for a gallon of XD100. No wonder my rig is a trailer queen now.

    Re: XD-100 Pricing!! (AwesomeBullet)

Price varies by dealer off the shelf is higher, than bulk pricing. If you are running a DFI then XD-50 works fine once the temp is above 40* and if you don't want to visit you local wrench once a year for maint. XD-100 is the best for the E-tec and DFI's..

Not sure what the shipping might be but this place has 1gal XD100 fro $34.49 and if you but a case it's $32.85/gal. The ad is about halfway down the page in the center.

We keep extra jugs around for those who stop by and forget theirs. Bulk is the only way to go!
