    250 HPDI mystery parts

    Here's a brain teaser for you...

    Anyone recognize these parts?... I mean specifically where do they go on the 250 HPDI (mine is a 2003).



    The fatter bolt fits nicely in the hole in the yoke, and the long bolt fits in the long bushing, but none of the other parts fit each other. I only showed the wire tie because it might be a clue.

    I found all these parts rattling around in the bottom of my cowling. I think some of them where jammed in my shift linkage since I was having an intermittent problem shifting into reverse. I think the parts recently became dislodged because now I don't have that problem and I heard the parts rattling around when I tilted the motor up for trailering last time I was out.

    I looked all over the engine (without taking anything apart) trying to find where they could have come from, but I don't see anything out of place, including the shift linkage!

    I had the powerhead replaced a couple years ago and it's been running great ever since.

    I'd appreciate any ideas.

    If you follow this link and look at parts number 1, 38, and 41.
    Not sure about the fatter bolt but it looks like it should fit in the part that holes the injector.

    Bolt and sleeve are for the injector rail and the u shaped piece actually holds the injector in.
