I purchased a new t1 and put it on but when I tighten the nut down the prop does not spin when I rotate it by hand. It seems to be rubbing on the inside of the hub. Not sure if why it would do this. My other yamaha prop does not. Any suggestions? Is the spacer worn?

Is the prop hitting the grease zerk?
Is it in gear?
Is the thrust washer in place?
Is the prop hitting the torque tab?
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
Prop hit the grease zerk which is not there anymore. it is not in gear when I am trying to move it by hand. The main thrust washer is in place behind the prop. i am not sure what goes on. I dont know if I need to replace anything or if my lower unit is screwed up?

Sounds like you might have the wrong thrust washer. I would check the part numbers.
