My tourney partner has a 2000 model OX66 200 VMax. It has recently (last couple of years) been giving him alot of trouble to the point that he is through spending money on it and trying to find someone that can fix it. Just curious if anyone knows a ballpark price of a fully dressed powerhead?? Just thought it would be cheaper that a new motor.

take it to somebody who knows what they are really doing. Airport Marine in Alabaster is a Yamaha service center and they know what they are doing. Grammer Marine in Vance is also a good place. Its going to be a lot cheaper to fix whats going on than to put a new powerhead on it and that might not even be the problem.

Talking to hydrotec too. My powerhead is screwed. From the $ he quoted me, looks like I might be using them too.
Buddy just had hyrotec do his 200 ox 66. Had them use 225 block for the same price and bought a used 225 computer. Seems to run real good. Tac
