does the tac ever need to be calibrated. my 2006 yamaha 115 4 stroke seems to turn higher rpm's than tac shows. no proof just 35 years as a auto mechanic just sounds faster than tac shows.with all the new electronics on new boats i was just wondering. thanks

At least yours works. I have found the grey wire was disconnected back at the motor(powerhead job) and now I get an Error for my tach. Gotta go in and trace it all out I guess. Oh the joys of under console wiring!!!!
