250 VMAX loose motor mounts

The service manager at the dealership noticed that I had loose motor mounts. This is not were it bolts to the transom/jack plate.
He stated this bas been covered under warranty on others in the past. It's been 3 weeks and we still haven't heard from yamaha if they will cover it or not.
I wondered if anyone else had this type of experience and what did they do. The service guy said he has to take the whole engine apart (7 hours of labor).

3 Weeks , damn it man, you could have had it done by yourself by now. I know I would have, I have been waiting on carb kits for a week and a half, I'm going crazy not being on the water. I hope I get them today so I can have some fun this weekend.

just picked my boat up today from an actual yamaha tech and he mentioned that my motor mount was loose and with the motor trimmed up you can grap the lower unit and move the motor side to side and it will have a bunch of play in it. He fixed it on my motor but I know it didn't take 7 hours to do? However it might be a different bolt/screw.

Well, He called to say that Yamaha agreed to cover it under the warranty. There were some parts to order, but I should have my rig back my Wednesday. Lakes just opened up this weekend up here anyway. Just glad I don't have to pay for it.
