Wanto to put a Trophy 26 on my YAM ox66 250

I want to try a 26 Trophy on my 04 YAMAHA 250 OX66. A friend had lent me one last year but when I put it on the diameter of the prop hub did not match up with the larger Yamaha hub, leaving a gap that the exhaust would flow over the blades. I didn't think that it would work well so I gave it back. I thought there is probably a ring of some sort that would allow this setup to work.

Any thoughts? Part numbers and locations to buy???

Trophy Plus WAS the best prop on my rig till the Fury came out..
To run the trophy on mine i needed that ring or it would blow out on take off. You can get an inexpensive plastic one at most marine dealers, about $8. I would go this route to find out if the prop is the one that you like or not. IF the prop is what you want permanently i would suggest getting the aluminum one from Mark in the prop forum, why.. The plastic WILL over time melt.
For starters.. i ran the ring flush with the end and 2 large hole pvs plugs and 2 holes completely open. During hot weather i only needed one of the large plugs, it let it rev up more during holeshot.

I would try it w/o the ring. It's Ok unless it over vents past 4500-5000 rpms on holeshot.

Most call them a "Cav ring"
