Waterpump -04 Yamaha vmax carb 150

Going into year 5 with my 04 Yamaha vmax carb 150. Should I be thinking about replaceing my waterpump, have never done this. I still have good water pressure 15-20.. I have been replacing my impeller every other year. Anything else to look for going in to year 5....Thanks.

The impeller is really the most important thing.....I assume you are talking about the water pump housing. Usually you don't need to replace the housing unless the engine overheats severely and melts it.
As long as compression is still good just the normal maintenence items should be fine - filters, plugs, gearlube, maybe clean the carbs.
