Need 200 HPDI Help!

I am looking at a boat with an 06 200 HPDI on it. I am wondering if it is the 2.6 or 3.3 liter and if this motor had the oil pump recall? I would also like to know what problems anyone has had with this motor. Thanks

Should be a 3.3L unless it has an older engine on it. Any Yamaha dealer can run the serial number and tell you if it has had the upgraded oil pump. As for the engine, there are NO problems with that one for sure.

yes the 2006 200hpdi did have a recall. the best way call yamaha with serial # they will tell you if needed and if it was completed by dealer under waranity they also have that info.
