I plan on switching to Royal Purple lower unit lube. Is 75/90 the correct lube? What AGL # is it?? I think 5 or 7 is the option.

Chris, you can find out by downloading the pdf file owner's manual from the Yamaha web site. The link is pinned to the top of this board. Just fill-in the data that describes your engine. It may be listed under the specifications section or in the maintenance section. I hope this helps you.

I saw where mine says 90w lube. Is the Royal Purple 75w90 ok to use?

Just found out from a tech at Royal Purple that the 74w90 will work fine in a lower unit with specs of 90w oil
