    ?? 200 HPDI FLOODING (HELP)

    Here recently noticed that my 2006/2007 200 has been flooding when motor is trimmed all the way down when i stop to fish a area, when i get ready to leave to go to next area the motor is flooded, can small gas , im not givin it gas or anything, its like the old carb motors use to do, when ya trim em all the way down , they tend ta over load with feul, but i know this shouldnt be happen , this boat is a new engine with only about 40hrs on it ....any one know what gives ???

    Sounds like an air restriction in cowl, air box or flooding injectors. You can have your injectors flow tested and cleaned. I recommend Brucatosvs.com for injector service. I would also check the plugs and gap. Replace or clean if carbon on plugs is evident. Are you running seafoam or ring free? One other thing…ensure your charging system is charging the battery after start up. Those are the things you can check out yourself except for the injector service.

    i havent noticed the gas on the water deal , but i will check to see if this incident happens again, i also use ring free an seafoam, but i have not checked the plugs yet , only around 40-50hrs , woulnt think i would need anything yet , but thanks guys , ill check the plugs and anything i see abnormal under the cowl, anyone suggest anything else ??

    check the fuel filter on the engine
    thye will leak air and cause flooding
