    Set up for new boat

Getting ready to order new boat. Took advice from earlier and I will get the 150HO E-tec. The boat is a 285PXL Stratos. I have a couple of questions.

    1) Does Stratos install the motor or is that left up to dealer?
    2) What prop would be best for this boat? There will be a 6" jack plate installed.
    3) What would be a good starting point for the motor hight?
    4) What is your opinion of a hot foot?

As you can tell I have never bought a new boat before, always had preowned.
some of these questions may sound crazy to some but want to get the best performance possible. With the knowledge and expertice on this sight I know I will get the best advice.

    Thanks

    Larry

Re: Set up for new boat (lewjack)

    Stratos installs.
    Don't know about prop.
I would start at 3 inches below pad but I don't know for sure.
Hotfoot a must on any high performance boat.
Todd should be along shortly with the gospel!
