HPDI Series Two

I am looking at a rig with a 225 Series Two VMAX. I am told this is the new motor to compete with the Mercury XS. Its a 2008 motor.

Anyone running this engine? Any comments on performace differences.

i posted the same thing a couple of weeks ago. mainly just reliability changes no changeds in spped from what i have heard

The series 1's are identical to series 2's except for new materials used in the pistons and another part, the performance stats should be identical...
