Evinrude XD100 oil in a 1987 Yamaha 175?

I have a barrel of XD100 oil, which is used in the Evinrude ETECS. I would like to also use this oil in my Yamaha 175, since I already have the barrel, and it would just be easier. Will this 100% synthetic oil meant for a DI outboard be acceptable in an old carb stroke mosquito killer? Or does my old motor really want dino oil?

i would run it. it wont hurt anything and will probably burn cleaner too.
