    Ringfree & Stabil

Is it ok to run ringfree and stabil in same tank? Getting ready to winterrize. Also how much Stabil should I use?Can you put in to much stabil? I have a 37 gal tank, should I top off tank or leave empty? My dealer closed up shop, thinking about winterrizing on my own??04 150 vmax carb. Thanks...

I use sea foam which has a fuel stabilizer in it. I don't see why you couldn't use it with the ring free. I'd follow the directions on the bottle.

For winterizing, I fill my tank, add the appropriate amounts of stabil and ringfree and then go run the boat, and fish, till I'm down about a half tank. In spring, I fill up the tank, add ringfree and run the boat. Been doing it that way for years.

I've got a carbed motor too and before I park the boat for the winter, I change the lower unit fluid, lube everything, and fog the cylinders. Nothin' to it.
