    Phase kits

Has anyone had a Phase 2 Kit installed for any length of time? If so have you had any problems? Would you do it again? I know any mods can reduce reliability, just wondering how long they last for those that have had them for a while..

    Re: Phase kits (tr21alabama)

My brother in law has phase III kit in his 150efi. Can't remember what year he did it but I know it's had to be 5+ years and still running just as strong as it did when he put it in.

Call and talk to Nathan or John they will be up front with you about there product.

    Re: Phase kits (Groma)

350?? Wow, you don't need a phase kit. jk

A phase II is heads, reeds, tuner, and solid mounts. A phase III is all that plus modified reed cages and a big bore throttle body.

Hydrotec marine makes phase kits to increase performance.........A phase III with a port job is a "Hydromax" .....my 97 had many hours with a phase two its a phase 3 with a port job now and still performs great

Everything they have said is true. I've ridded in a 'Phased' boats and they will amaze you. Still super smooth and reliable, just faster.

My '08 250 HPDI will have a Phase II kit.

If my '07 wasn't for sale, it would have one.

    Re: Phase kits (tr21alabama)

Is there a way to block all thread that contain the words "phase" and "hydrotec"

You guys are plain evil, everytime I read these thread I wonder how I can slip this one past the wife Then I realize I got atleast a year before that'll happen.

Someday I'll be running phase III

    Re: Phase kits (MNXD9)

MNXD9 why would you want to phase kit your motor. That barge is only going to go so slow and that is all!

If you want to get it by the wife tell her that the motor blew and that it needs to go to hrdrotec for a rework so you can get back on the water!

    Re: Phase kits (spider1)

It's true, it'll always be slow , it more about getting what I can out of what I got Then again if I wanted fast... Ranger would pretty much not be on my list, at all... like most Ranger owners, we didn't buy them for all out speed.

I actually thought about the blown motor idea, I'd rather not lie about it, I'm sure I can find a way to justify it somehow, still working on it

    Re: Phase kits (spider1)

Nah not at all I understood you were joking around,

I was actually thinking it was kind pretty darn funny, never really looked at it some much from an outside prospective, Kind of hey you sure got a quick redheaded stepchild there The reata (or any fish any ski) is really a red headed step child of fishing boats from most people prospectives (just what I gather from talking with people) I mean nothing bad by it, kind magnified with the thought of Ranger (fish and ski)and Fast in the same sentence.

Ohh don't get me wrong either I run the the motto, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, tested that one out Today as a matter of fact Apparently wife's think 29 year old men are old enough to not go out and buy the newest game system on the market on a inpulse buy Silly woman
