    so you bait hoaders?

So you bait hoarders, that believe only baits that aren't made any more are worth using, did you ever stop and think maybe the reason they aren't made anymore is no one would buy them? I just find it interesting, how baits suddenly become better when they are no longer made. How they are always vastly better than anything that is made now, how when the bait company brings them back only the old ones are worth using.

my question is, do you all buy tin foil in bulk? And if so what brand?

When I make a tin foil hat, should I have the shiney side on the inside or on the outside?

Outside in winter. Inside in summer. So the voices tell me.

We are all victims of marketing. That's why they quit one model and begin another. Look at Ranger. Look at Pure.

many of my baits are old, more from sentimental value. Honestly most of my old baits rarely get used. Exception is crankbaits, other than warts, because I lose them all the time throwing them places I can't get the boat into.

The warts I don't use, keep meaning to sell them. Don't think they are any better than the new cranks, and actually find some of the newer designs work better.

If you go to Sams Club they have it in 500' rolls. More than enough for you and all your buddies.

I use lots of antique baits, some from my childhood years and some I search out on ebay etc. Guess what, they still catch fish . What I like is that the fish most likely have never seen these baits in their lives. Does it give me an advantage? Don't know, but I do win my share of tourneys. When the bait companies bring them back they usually come from china or mexico. The originals where most likely made in the great U.S.A. with better material and construction. Yes I do buy tin foil in bulk, use it dull side up, great stuff
