    225 trim seal,help !

I noticed some fluid seeping from the seal where the trim pin comes out to push the motor up, has anyone ever put a seal in these ,if so, how hard is it? I noticed it takes a special wrench and do you have to relieve the fluid pressure? how?
Should i take it to the shop? Hate to ,ya know how long they usually take. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Easy fix, special tool needed, don't scratch the rod, relieve reassure by raising motor full up and rotate the motor lock down

yes, if you don't I think it will blow out when you get the cap loose. Remember the seal you see is the dust seal the oil seal is underneath but replace both.

You can wrap the rod with elec tape prior to removing the cap to prevent scratches.

Look here for your year and model and you can check out the works.
