Opened up th SHO saturday and hit the rev limiter !

Fished a river tour sat and was running a triton x with a 225 evin ho down and ran the jackplate up high as i ever had and pushed the motor hard to pass him b4 the straight away and hit the rev limiter at 6200 and 81 mph

1. did you catch any fish going that fast?
2. I guess the 225 evin ho must be pretty fast if it took 81 to pass it.
3. Is your SHO a 225?

No ! lol but it sure was fun seeing the look on his face at the end of the 1st 3 mile straight away when i had passed the three boats that had blast off between us. and yes its a 225 and on a javelin so no smoke and mirrors here

I bet. For me I would have been a little nervous if I was a passenger at that point...lol.

Talk about being passed..a few times running my little F50 on Lark Barkley and running WOT at about 32mph and being passed by someone doing over 60. It's like watching a jet plane going by while standing still...lol.

Hopefully will be upgrading to a new boat this year to at least an F150 and then when I get passed it won't feel as bad.
